I lived at the Saxony Apartments for a year and the experience has been great. The Saxony is in an excellent location as they are downtown, in the middle of everything: five minutes (or less) away from restaurants, stores, museums, campus, a grocery store, etc. Everything is within walking distance. Even though they are downtown, it isn’t a noisy area – I haven’t had any problems falling asleep. There are many bus stops near by, so if you want to explore other areas of the beautiful city of Madison, you can always get on one of the many buses available and visit sites around the city. Besides, the staff takes care of any issues with the apartment, they are very helpful, friendly and nice, especially. Nichole and Mary always have a smile on their faces, make you feel at home and are ready to help if you need anything; they know their stuff very well. The apartments are furnished and include internet, gas and water. You just need to pay for electricity. Finally, all of the apartments have been updated and this is a big plus. I highly recommend the Saxony. It has been a great experience to live here and meet the kind and very friendly staff.

I was staying in this apartment when I was student few years ago. I think this apartment is very good for the money. This apartment is pretty much close to everything including State street, Kohl Center, Grainger Hall etc etc. Plus, rent itself is very reasonable. They pay almost all utilities except electricity. If I am back to student again, I would go back to that apartment.

This is the third apartment that I’ve lived in since moving to Madison and the only apartment that I’ve chosen to stay with for more than one year. All of the staff are extremely personable, reliable, and helpful. It still amazes me how quickly they learn everyone’s names to make you feel right at home! You really can’t beat living at Saxony; it’s a wonderful location, great price (furnished and all utilities except electric), and like I’ve said, exceptional staff. The end of my 3rd year living in the Saxony is approaching and I am going to sign for a 4th. I lived here as a student and as a young professional and truly enjoyed my stay. We have in the Saxony Apartments for 7 months already, the same time we have been in the US, and from day 1, this apartment is what has made us feel at home. We chose them in the first place because of how easy signing our lease was, whilst we were still in our home country, we could sign for just the school year. When we got here we saw how great the year was going to be, it was all packed with students, both national and international, everything in our apartment was clean and new, but the best part was their location! They are downtown, right in the middle of everything; you can walk to class, to the gym, to State St., to the Fresh Market, to the Capitol and every major restaurant and bar, it’s awesome! What is really amazing are the staff working there in the office, Nichole and Mary, they are always there when you need them and solve any problems as quickly as they can. It has definitely been one of our best decisions to stay here, it wouldn’t have been the same if we hadn’t!

I’ve rented in Madison for 5 years, 2 of which were with Saxony Apartments and they were by far my most pleasant experience. They have the most attentive and caring staff, and I haven’t dealt with a management team that put their tenants as a higher priority than Saxony. Packages are held behind the desk, laundry facilities are clean and well kept, provided appliances in the apartments are brand new, and if there is ever an issue with something in your apartment they are always quick to address it. The location is perfect, all my classes were within a 7 minute bike ride, even as an engineering student who had most of them near Camp Randall. Saxony is a block or two away from the grocery store, several main bus stops, the Serf, the Kohl Center, State Street, and right next door to Ian’s Pizza!

I was abroad when I had to find and sign a lease for the following school year with one of my friends. I knew Saxony was going to be a good fit for me once I saw their willingness to work with me while I was in another country. Through living with Saxony I only have great things to say. The place was spacious, clean and most importantly the staff continued to be amazing!!! As a college student, I have experienced plenty of landlords who only want your money and do not treat you with respect. The Saxony employees were committed in making your stay comfortable. They always made me the priority and if we had any problems they were fixed immediately!
